The Indian javelin thrower, Neeraj Chopra has been named a brand ambassador for OMEGA, the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932.

This prestigious partnership aligns perfectly with Chopra’s meteoric rise and OMEGA’s commitment to excellence.

Chopra joins a team of distinguished athletes, including Swedish pole vaulter Armand Duplantis, Italian Paralympic fencer Beatrice Vio, and Swiss wheelchair racer Marcel Hug. OMEGA recognizes Chopra’s dedication, precision, and relentless pursuit of victory – qualities mirroring the brand’s dedication to precision timekeeping and innovative watchmaking.

OMEGA’s press release stated, “These athletes epitomize Omega’s commitment to precision and innovation, each with a unique story of perseverance and breaking barriers. From Erriyon Knighton to Ma Long, the roster spans diverse disciplines like sprinting and table tennis, showcasing Omega’s inclusive approach. Local hero Leon Marchand adds French flair, while athletes like Gianmarco Tamberi and Shericka Jackson emphasize Olympic spirit in the track and field.”

The Paris Olympics 2024 marks OMEGA’s 31st time as an official timekeeper. OMEGA recently launched a new global advertising campaign specifically for the Paris Games.

Chopra, a national hero in India, is the reigning Olympic and World Champion in Men’s Javelin Throw. His historic gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics made him the first Asian athlete to achieve this feat.
