KRAFTON India‘s renowned game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has unveiled a new campaign starring the two-time Olympic medallist, Neeraj Chopra.
Created by Teen Bandar, the effort involves two humorous and high-energy films that showcase Chopra’s personality in a fresh, relatable way.
The advertising effort highlights the heart of BGMI’s vibrant gaming community, providing fans throughout the country with a sense of humour and friendly rivalry.
In the first film, Neeraj takes on a humorous challenge in a double role, replying to the light-hearted taunt, “Isko Phekna Nahin Aata”—a reference to his legendary athletic ability. The second short features Neeraj proudly exhibiting BGMI on his phone, emphasising his own connection to the game in a humorous and personal manner. Together, the films show the essence of gaming and the companionship that BGMI develops among its community.
Srinjoy Das, Associate Director Marketing of Krafton India, said, “Neeraj brings a unique charm that truly resonates with our players. These films not only entertain but capture the heart of what BGMI stands for—community, resilience, and the joy of the game. Through Neeraj’s effortless blend of humour and intensity, we aim to connect with our players in a way that feels both authentic and inspiring.”
Savio Joseph, Co-founder of Teen Bandar, said, “This campaign is a perfect blend of BGMI’s exciting world and Neeraj’s captivating presence. His charisma and playful spirit made it possible to create films that are as engaging as they are relatable. It’s a celebration of BGMI as a platform that brings people together, inspiring both fun and connection in a way only Neeraj could embody.”
Krafton India and Teen Bandar use these two videos to highlight BGMI’s position as more than simply a game—it’s a culture of connection, humour, and competitive spirit that resonates with gamers throughout India.
