NBA signs a contract extension with Tissot

Tissot is aiming to bring the fans closer to the game through its newly launched T-Touch Connect Solar timepiece.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) have signed a multi-year marketing partnership extension with Tissot. The deal began in the year 2015. Tissot is the Official Watch and Official Timekeeper of the NBA, the NBA G League and the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).

Tissot is aiming to bring the fans closer to the game through its newly launched T-Touch Connect Solar timepiece. The new Swiss product is a hybrid watch, which contains an orthodox masterpiece with connected functionalities, which allows NBA fans to stay updated regarding their favourite teams. The new feature also includes crucial information such as game schedules and team standings. Apart from the key information, the fans will be able to access live NBA games through the watch’s silent notifications, which will contain live scores and statistics. A unique precision timekeeping system was initiated by the NBA and Tissot. The system has been used in all 29 NBA arenas since the 2016/17 season.
