NBA secures Wingstop as official chicken partner

Wingstop, with this deal with NBA, has entered into its first formal collaboration with a major professional sports league in the United States.

The professional basketball tournament, National Basketball Association (NBA) has developed a multi-year partnership with an American restaurant chain that serves chicken wings and other dishes, Wingstop.

As part of the deal, the brand has been named the official chicken partner of the NBA and NBA G League. Wingstop has entered into its first formal collaboration with a major professional sports league in the United States.

As Wingstop expands its footprint to over 2,350 restaurants, the supercharged flavour brand will increase media exposure by means of virtual and courtside advertisement during nationally televised NBA broadcasts, as well as appearances on the leagues’ social and digital platforms all over the season.

This partnership is another demonstration of Wingstop being in a category-of-one, claiming our spot as the Official Chicken and Official Wing Partner of the NBA.”

Kicking off with NBA All-Star 2025 in the San Francisco Bay Area, Wingstop will have a major presence at NBA All-Star as part of the agreement. Wingstop will also serve as the presenting partner of the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game Green Carpet, which will host celebrity arrivals before to the annual exhibition match on February 14 at Oakland Arena.

The collaboration expands Wingstop’s previous NBA affiliations, which include partnerships with Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, and New York Knicks.
