The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced a partnership with Meta to produce games and other licensed experiences available in virtual reality via Meta Horizon World on Meta Quest.
In Meta Horizon Worlds, the NBA Arena will showcase 52 NBA League Pass games in a shared, high-definition experience. Five of the games will be shown in a visually stunning 180-degree monoscopic presentation with 2800 resolution on Meta Quest, the NBA and Women’s National Basketball Association‘s (WNBA) official VR headset.
Audiences in Meta’s VR Xtadium will also be able to purchase NBA-licensed attire from the Meta Avatars Store.

Meta’s digital world opens up exciting possibilities for NBA fans to virtually attend our games and to interact with other fans around the world.”
Meta Quest technology will also be showcased to NBA fans at significant NBA and WNBA events.
