National Rugby League announces partnership extension with Steeden

Following the extension, Steeden continues to be National Rugby League's ball of choice for the next five years, till the end of 2027.

The Australian rugby league competition, National Rugby League (NRL) has announced a partnership extension with the Australian sports equipment manufacturing brand, Steeden.

Following the extension, Steeden continues to be NRL’s ball of choice for the next five years, till the end of 2027.

The Australian company has been the elite competition’s official match ball since 1973, and the brand has a long and proud history of promoting rugby league throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Steeden is dedicated to collaborating with the NRL to drive the competition ahead into an exciting phase for the game, catering to all levels of competition from the grassroots to the international level for players of all ages.

Founded in 1958, Steeden, also known as Steeden Sports, is an Australian sports equipment manufacturing entity that is currently headquartered in Victoria, Australia. The brand is known for producing a large range of rugby products that includes footballs, protective gear, jerseys, and accessories.

The Australian tournament is currently at a highly competitive stage with Brisbane Broncos leading the points table with 88 points in 11 games.
