National Hockey League strikes two-year deal with Low6

Following the partnership, Low6 has been named the official supplier of “highly innovative games” for the NHL.

The professional ice hockey league in North America, National Hockey League (NHL) has signed a two-year partnership with the sports gaming technology company, Low6.

Following the partnership, Low6 has been named the official supplier of “highly innovative games” for the NHL.

The deal has also made the gaming technology a ‘key strategic investment’ for the league, with both parties having shared the same idealogy of increasing and driving fan engagement and digital innovation.

In the past, the British gaming technology had worked with league-branded gaming content, such as the free-to-play NHL PrePlay, which was released in December with BET99.

Hockey fans in Canada are particularly excited about this game because they can win cash prizes, NHL gift cards, and tickets to a ticket giveaway draw by registering their predictions for each match day throughout the tournament.

Jamie Mitchell, Low6, CEO and Co-Founder, said, “We are thrilled that Low6 has been selected as the free-to-play games provider for the NHL. Over the next two years, we will be providing highly innovative games, actionable data, and a whole heap of fun for users”.

He further commented, “We look forward to working with the NHL and their commercial partners in activating revenue throughout our gamification suite.”

Low6 is a sports gaming technology company that helps sportsbooks, teams, leagues, and brands engage and monetize their digital fanbases through individualized gaming experiences. Low6 encourages innovative concepts that will revolutionize upcoming sports mobile device gamification for fans.
