The Serie A club, SSC Napoli and the global beverage giant, Coca-Cola, have announced a partnership extension.

The beverage giant has become the Parthenopeans’ official global training kit partner.

This expanded collaboration builds upon the successful partnership that began in 2022 and sees the iconic soda brand logo prominently featured on the training apparel of the first team and the Primavera youth squad.

Commenting on the partnership extension, Tommaso Bianchini, SSC Napoli’s Chief Revenue Officer, said, “We are proud to have extended our agreement with Coca-Cola to include our training kit and entire warm-up collection. This partnership confirms the global value of our brand and brings together fashion and entertainment through a passion for football. Today marks the start of a unique synergy between a globally loved brand and Napoli, which is aiming to establish a new notion of sporting fashion and entertainment for our fan base.”

Phillipine Mtikitiki, Vice President and General Manager of The Coca-Cola Company for Italy and Albania, added, “We are thrilled  to live this new chapter with SSC Napoli. As Coca-Cola, we want to share the magic of football with fans through unique experiences at the stadium and accompanying them when they watch matches at home with a pizza and a Coke”

The partnership represents a major milestone in the relationship between the two brands. The company has already hosted numerous activations in Naples and at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, including pre-match shows and DJ sets.

The world’s leading soft drink brand has a deep connection to Naples, as Fanta – now a globally recognized beverage – was born in 1955. Additionally, Coca-Cola HBC Italia’s production facility has been based in Marcianise, Caserta, since 1974.

The Coca-Cola Company offers a vast portfolio of over 500 brands in 200 countries, including iconic names like Sprite, Fanta, and Powerade. Committed to sustainability, the company strives to make a positive impact on the world. Beyond football, the cola giant sponsors major sporting events such as the ICC Cricket World Cup, UEFA EURO, Copa America, Special Olympics, and the PGA Tour. The company recently partnered with the Anju Bobby Sports Foundation (ABSF) and Hockey India.

Gli Azzurri will kick off their 2024-25 campaign on August 18 with an away match against Hellas Verona FC.
