Mumbai Khiladis join forces with Radio One Pune

The Pune-based radio station has been appointed as the official radio partner of the team.

The Ultimate Kho Kho league team, Mumbai Khiladis have announced an association with the entertainment-centric radio station, Radio One Pune.

In this development, the Pune-based radio station has been appointed as the official radio partner of the team for the inaugural edition of the competition.

The indigenous Indian sport’s franchise tournament commenced earlier this week on August 14. The first game was played between Mumbai Khiladis and Gujarat Giants, the latter won the fixture by 25 points.

The Mumbai-based kho kho franchise is owned by the popular rapper and singer, Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, popularly known as Badshah along with film producer, developer, and sports enthusiast, Punit Balan.

The team is helmed by Vijay Hazare. Mumbai Khiladis didn’t have the ideal start to their maiden UKK edition as they played three games, out of which they lost twice and emerged victorious once. With three points, the franchise has acquired the fifth spot on the points table. 

Mumbai Khiladis will be next seen in action on Friday, August 19 when they take on Chennai Quick Guns.
