The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Mumbai Indians (MI) have signed a new sponsorship agreement with the online fantasy sports portal, Dream11.
For the 16th season of the cash-rich league, the brand has been named the official partner of the five-time champions.
On the fantasy sports portal, Dream11, fans construct a squad of real players for any upcoming match in which they engage against other fans for massive financial prizes. Users can use their sporting expertise to choose the team they believe will win the selected match by accumulating the most points within a cap of 100 credits.
Prior to this development, the Mumbai-based team also teamed up with Usha International, DHL, IDFC FIRST Bank, EUME, Jio and Astral Pipes. The Rohit Sharma-led team will begin its season against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on April 2 at 7:30 PM IST.
