MTN Rwanda, the country’s leading mobile network provider, has joined the premier African men’s basketball league, the Basketball Africa League (BAL), as the official digital partner for the Playoffs and Finals.

Throughout the Playoffs and Finals held this week at BK Arena, fans can enjoy special promotions and sweepstakes. They’ll also gain access to Ayoba, an all-in-one app by MTN, offering free features like messaging, calls, news, games, and even exclusive BAL content like highlights and the “BAL Daily” show.

The 2024 BAL Playoffs continue today, with two exciting semifinal matchups. The first game sees Rivers Hoopers (Nigeria) take on Al Ahly Ly (Libya) at 8:30 PM IST, followed by Petro de Luanda (Angola) facing off against Cape Town Tigers (South Africa) at 11:30 PM IST.

The BAL is a professional league featuring the top 12 African clubs. This joint venture between the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and NBA Africa represents the NBA’s first collaboration to operate a league outside North America.
