MPL launches ₹99 ticket campaign ahead of IPL 2020

India’s largest esports and mobile gaming platform, Mobile Premier League (MPL) has released its ₹ 99 Ticket ad campaign ahead of the IPL 2020, featuring Bollywood actors Manoj Bajpai and Prakash Raj. The advertisement will run on TV as well as digital platforms during the tournament.

While Manoj Bajpai’s ad will target the Hindi-speaking markets, in Prakash Raj’s version, we can see him speaking in multiple southern languages, targeting the South Indian markets.

The ad was conceptualised and executed end-to-end by MPL’s creative team. It features Bajpai and Prakash playing on the app  and intends to educate users on MPL’s latest feature, the ₹ 99 Ticket, which lets the users play unlimited Fantasy Cricket contests on the app throughout the course of the T20 Cricket season.

The ad will run on Star Sports network during the IPL 2020 season.

MPL has also associated with top IPL franchises Kolkata Knight Riders as their front of jersey sponsor and Royal Challengers Bangalore as their lead trouser sponsor. The deal with these two teams may see the star players participating in the MPL campaign in the coming days.
