MotoGP’s Aragon race lands Tissot title sponsorship

The event to be named as Grand Premiro Tissot de Aragon.

Dorna Sports, who is MotoGP’s commercial rights holder has announced that Swiss luxury watchmaker Tissot will be the title sponsor of the upcoming Grand Prix of Aragon.

Tissot has been the authorized timekeeper of the global motorcycling series since 2001 and has also fashioned limited edition timepiece collections during the two-decade partnership.

The brand’s contract for the race at MotorLand Aragon in Spain will see the event called the Grand Premiro Tissot de Aragon. The event is happening from 10th to 12th September in the current year.

It will be the third race in the last two seasons sponsored by Tissot, linking the Grand Prix in Doha, as well as San Marino and Rimini Riviera.

We’re honored to announce Tissot as the title sponsor for a second Grand Prix this season, and to add another important agreement to our longstanding collaboration,” said Marc Saurina, senior director of global commercial partnerships at Dorna Sports.

Tissot is a pivotal presence in the paddock as the official timekeeper of MotoGP, and as our partnership celebrates 20 years it makes us proud to see it continue to go from strength to strength.”
