MotoGP has appointed CAA Sports as its exclusive global sponsorship agency, marking a significant step in the championship’s efforts to expand its commercial footprint and unlock new partnership opportunities worldwide.

Under the agreement, CAA Sports, the sports division of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), will work closely with MotoGP’s commercial team to secure new sponsorship deals, develop innovative brand partnerships and strengthen the series’ global sponsorship portfolio across key markets.

The partnership comes as MotoGP continues to build momentum both on and off the track. With a global fanbase exceeding 650 million and an expanding international presence, the premier motorcycle racing championship is seeking to capitalise on growing interest from brands looking to engage with passionate and highly engaged audiences through sport.

CAA Sports will be tasked with identifying new commercial categories, creating integrated sponsorship platforms and delivering partnership opportunities spanning MotoGP’s race events, digital channels, content ecosystem and premium hospitality experiences. The agency’s global reach and extensive experience in sponsorship sales are expected to help MotoGP attract a broader range of multinational partners while enhancing value for existing commercial stakeholders.

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of MotoGP Group, said, “This partnership marks a key step in delivering our commercial strategy – building on the strength of what we have already created and taking it to the next level. MotoGP already offers partners a powerful global platform, and with CAA – the best in the business – we are in a strong position to unlock even greater value, attract new categories, and deepen our relationships with brands worldwide.”

Paul Danforth, CAA Managing Director and President, CAA Sports, added, “MotoGP is a premium global sports platform with a loyal and highly engaged fanbase. The championship’s rapidly growing international profile offers brands a unique opportunity to connect with audiences through world-class competition, premium events and year-round content. We are excited to work alongside the MotoGP team to help accelerate the next phase of its commercial growth.”

The appointment forms part of MotoGP’s wider commercial strategy as the championship prepares for a new era beginning in 2027. Recent developments, including a long-term commitment from manufacturers Aprilia, DucatiHondaKTM and Yamaha through 2031, have further strengthened the sport’s long-term outlook and commercial appeal.

The appointment reinforces MotoGP’s ambition to further professionalise and scale its commercial operations as it seeks to attract new investment, broaden its sponsorship base and maximise the value of one of motorsport’s most globally recognised properties.
