F1 Academy, the burgeoning all-female single-seater championship, has ignited a powerful new partnership with global financial services titan Morgan Stanley, signalling a landmark moment for the series and women in motorsport.

This collaboration marks Morgan Stanley’s inaugural foray into motorsport sponsorship, underscoring the growing prominence and commercial magnetism of the F1 Academy as it cultivates the next generation of female racing stars.

The high-octane alliance will officially commence at Round 3 of the F1 Academy season, a support event for the prestigious Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, taking place from May 2 to 4, 2025. Adding an extra layer of excitement to this debut, the global financial services firm will be the primary supporter of talented American driver Ava Dobson, who will join the grid as a wild card entry for Hitech TGR. Dobson’s car will sport a striking Morgan Stanley livery, and the company’s logo will be proudly displayed on her racing suit. In a fitting tribute, the #90 adorning Dobson’s car will commemorate Morgan Stanley’s 90th anniversary.

Beyond the electrifying Miami race weekend, the financial institution will maintain a significant season-long presence within the F1 Academy ecosystem. This will include dynamic brand activations at select race events and the provision of exclusive hospitality experiences for Morgan Stanley clients and guests within the coveted F1 Academy Paddock Club.

Demonstrating a deep commitment to female empowerment, the investment bank will also join forces with The Female Quotient, a leading organisation dedicated to advancing gender equality. Together, they will host engaging events designed to connect clients and fans with impactful initiatives that champion women’s advancement within the realm of sports. This strategic collaboration underscores Morgan Stanley’s broader investment in women’s sports and its dedication to fostering gender equity across elite athletics.

Susie Wolff, Managing Director of F1 ACADEMY, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership and said, “We are very proud to have Morgan Stanley on board as the inaugural financial services partner of F1 ACADEMY, in the firm’s first foray into motorsport sponsorship. It is fantastic to see Morgan Stanley, a brand that has driven excellence and innovation for 90 years, investing in women’s sport and championing female talent in motorsport.”

This strategic alliance between F1 Academy and the leading financial services provider represents a significant leap forward in elevating female participation in motorsport and powerfully highlights the increasing value and global recognition of the F1 Academy platform.
