Mobile Premier League expands operations with GameDuell acquisition

MPL has already grounded its foot in the US and Indonesia.

The Indian mobile esports and skill gaming platform, Mobile Premier League (MPL) has acquired the games studio, GameDuell, which is headquartered in Berlin. The reason behind this acquisition is to boost the gaming platform’s operations and footprints across European markets. 

MPL has already grounded its foot in the US and Indonesia, with this new venture, it will expand its reach across three continents. The employees of GameDuell will become a part of the MPL team, while the financial details aren’t revealed yet. 

Sai Srinivas, Co-founder and CEO, MPL said, “We are excited to expand our operations to Europe after having successfully ventured into Indonesia and the US. We believe our collaboration with GameDuell will give us the right strategic support and expertise to take this new journey forward and help us continue to offer exemplary gaming experience for both India and the world.”

To provide exponential gaming and esports experience to the customers, MPL has been working on different genres. GameDuell, with its experienced team, is also looking forward to developing multiplayer games like board, arcade and puzzle games.
