Major League Baseball (MLB) has renewed its long-standing partnerships with MGM Resorts International and BetMGM, reinforcing one of the most significant and enduring commercial relationships in the North American sports betting and entertainment landscape.
The multi-year renewals will see MGM Resorts continue as MLB’s exclusive integrated resort and casino partner, while BetMGM retains its designation as an official sports betting partner of the league.
The renewed partnerships build upon a relationship that began in 2018 when MGM Resorts became MLB’s first official gaming partner following the liberalisation of sports betting regulations in the United States. Over the past eight years, the collaboration has expanded beyond traditional sponsorship rights to encompass hospitality, fan engagement, sports wagering and premium event experiences.
As part of the renewed agreement, MGM Resorts will continue to utilise MLB intellectual property and marketing assets across its portfolio of integrated resort destinations while maintaining a prominent presence at key league events. The company will also continue its involvement with MLB Awards Week in Las Vegas and other fan-focused activations throughout the baseball calendar.
BetMGM will retain extensive access to MLB’s media and marketing platforms, including promotional inventory across MLB Network, MLB.com and the league’s digital properties in the United States and Canada. The operator will also continue to integrate its brand into MLB content distributed through Apple TV and retain rights to develop MLB-themed casino gaming products.
The renewal highlights the growing maturity of sports betting partnerships across professional sports, with both rights holders and operators increasingly prioritising long-term strategic collaborations that extend beyond traditional sponsorship visibility.
Lance Evans, Senior Vice President of Sports & Sponsorships, MGM Resorts International, said, “As Major League Baseball continues to evolve, we’re pleased to extend a partnership that aligns with our long–term vision for global sports and entertainment. From Las Vegas and throughout the world, we’re focused on providing premium experiences that connect sports with hospitality.”
Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer, BetMGM, added, “Major League Baseball offers one of the most engaging, data–rich experiences in sports, and this renewal underscores our shared commitment to innovation, integrity, and responsibility. Together, we’re enhancing how fans experience the game, from defining moments on the field to legendary experiences at marquee events like MLB All–Star Week.”
Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB Chief Marketing Officer & Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Partnerships, shared, “MGM Resorts and BetMGM have been great partners to Baseball for nearly a decade. We’re excited to continue our relationship and together help create more unique experiences for our fans.”
Beyond the league-level agreement, MGM Resorts and BetMGM maintain partnerships with several MLB franchises, including the Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Nationals.
The renewed agreements also include ongoing commitments to responsible gaming initiatives and integrity measures designed to support a safe and sustainable sports betting environment as the sector continues to expand across North America.
