RH has entered into a multi-year global partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, marking what the two organisations describe as Formula One‘s first global design collaboration. The agreement expands the relationship between luxury lifestyle and elite motorsport by placing premium hospitality and experiential design at the centre of the partnership.
As part of the collaboration, RH has been appointed the team’s global interior design and luxury furnishings curator. The luxury home furnishings brand will design and furnish hospitality suites, VIP lounges, executive offices and premium guest environments across the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team’s global operations, creating a unified luxury identity throughout the Formula One calendar.
The rollout will begin in late 2026, with RH-designed hospitality spaces set to debut at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix before being introduced at other marquee events, including the Miami, Monaco and British Grands Prix.
The partnership represents a strategic evolution in F1’s commercial landscape, where brands are increasingly investing in immersive guest experiences rather than traditional sponsorship assets. For Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS, the collaboration reinforces its ambition to position the team as a luxury lifestyle brand beyond the racetrack, using premium hospitality to strengthen engagement with partners, sponsors and VIP guests.
For RH, the agreement extends its design philosophy into one of the world’s fastest-growing global sports properties, complementing its existing portfolio of luxury galleries, restaurants, guesthouses and travel experiences.
RH Founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Gary Friedman commented, “Over the last two decades, we’ve learned that great partnerships have the power to accelerate growth, inspire innovation and elevate everything around them. Much of RH’s success has been built through connections to the world’s most talented designers, artisans and manufacturing partners – individuals and organisations that challenge conventional thinking and set the standard in their respective fields.
“The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team has established the benchmark for precision, innovation and performance, making this a natural collaboration between two organisations united by an unwavering commitment to excellence. Together, we have the opportunity to create immersive environments unlike anything experienced in sport, blurring the lines between driving and design.”
Toto Wolff, Team Principal and Chief Executive Officer, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, said, “Welcoming RH into our partner ecosystem is another example of our ambition to work with brands that lead in their respective fields. Their reputation for design excellence, quality and innovation aligns strongly with the values that drive our team. Together, we aim to create exceptional environments and experiences for our partners, guests and fans, ensuring they reflect the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team.”
Richard Sanders, Chief Commercial Officer, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, added, “The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team and RH are united by a shared commitment to excellence, innovation and creating world-class experiences. RH has built a distinctive global brand through its leadership in design, craftsmanship and hospitality, making it a compelling addition to the team. Together, we have an exciting opportunity to elevate the environments in which we engage our partners, guests and fans, delivering experiences that reflect the premium standards of both organisations.”
The announcement also comes as Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS enjoys a strong start to the 2026 campaign, leading both the FIA F1 World Constructors’ Championship and the Drivers’ Championship, further reinforcing the team’s position as one of the sport’s leading commercial and competitive platforms.
