Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team has renewed its contract with UBS, a global financial services giant.
The renewed agreement, which began in 2011, marks a significant milestone for both organisations as they continue to collaborate on innovation and excellence.
The partnership has been instrumental in the team’s unprecedented success, with seven Drivers’ and eight Constructors’ World Championships. UBS’s support has been invaluable, providing the team with the necessary resources and expertise to compete at the highest level.
As a team partner, UBS will continue to receive prominent branding on the front of the drivers’ uniforms, a visible symbol of the strong bond between the two entities.
Iqbal Khan, Co-President of UBS Global Wealth Management and President of UBS Asia-Pacific, expressed his enthusiasm for the renewed partnership, stating, “We are proud to extend our long-term partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. The partnership reflects our shared values: a commitment to innovation, talent and teamwork, which all drive performance. I look forward to the opportunities our partnership will present in this next chapter together, as we continue to provide unparalleled experiences for our clients.”
Toto Wolff, Team Principal & CEO of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, added, “UBS has been an important member of our partner family ever since we began our relationship back in 2011. It is no surprise to me that we have enjoyed such a long-standing relationship given our shared values and goals. We both strive for excellence, maintain the highest standards, and share a commitment to sustainable performance. It is fantastic to extend our partnership yet again and we look forward to working together for many more years to come.”
UBS, a leading global wealth manager and universal bank, offers various financial services, including asset management and investment banking. With the recent acquisition of Credit Suisse, UBS now manages a staggering 5.5 trillion dollars of invested assets.
