The Memphis Grizzlies have named DAZN their exclusive local broadcast partner in a multi-year agreement beginning with the 2026–27 NBA season, further strengthening the sports streaming platform’s push into U.S. regional sports.

Under the agreement, DAZN will carry 78 of the Grizzlies’ 80 announced regular-season games, in addition to all four preseason fixtures, across the franchise’s seven-state Mid-South broadcast footprint. Fans outside the territory will continue to access Grizzlies games through NBA League Pass, subject to the league’s national broadcast arrangements.

The deal also introduces a broader digital proposition around the team. DAZN will offer highlights, condensed games, on-demand programming, Grind City Media content and select Memphis Hustle games, alongside features including multi-view and alternative broadcasts.

Fifteen regular-season games will be available free-to-view through the DAZN app and a local over-the-air television partner, representing the most free Grizzlies games since the franchise moved to Memphis in 2001. All four preseason games will also be available without a subscription.

Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group, said, “The way fans consume sport is changing. They expect every game, on any screen, with an experience that’s flexible, personalised, interactive, and digital-first. That’s exactly why we’ve partnered with the Memphis Grizzlies and become the exclusive home for Grizzlies basketball for fans across the Mid-South. From free-to-view games and alternative broadcasts to multi-view experiences and premium live and on-demand content, we’re creating a richer destination for Grizzlies fans every day of the season.”

Jason Wexler, President of the Memphis Grizzlies, added, “Teaming up with an industry leader in DAZN allows us to deliver the modern broadcast experience Grizzlies fans across the Mid-South and our seven-state broadcast footprint deserve. This partnership guarantees 15 regular season games free on the DAZN app and locally over-the-air, the highest number since the Grizzlies arrived in Memphis in 2001. It also rewards our Grizzlies Season Ticket MVPs with complimentary Season Pass access while providing significant production upgrades and a customizable viewing experience.”

The agreement represents another step in DAZN’s expanding U.S. strategy. The platform has recently secured local NBA partnerships with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers, while its acquisition of EverPass Media and ViewLift has strengthened its distribution, technology and commercial capabilities in the U.S. regional sports market.

For the Grizzlies, the partnership provides a streaming-led alternative as the traditional regional sports network model continues to weaken. The relationship will also extend beyond basketball, with DAZN and the franchise planning a professional boxing event in Memphis in 2027.
