The Melbourne Stars have extended their partnership with Greenworks Australia for a further two seasons, strengthening a relationship that began ahead of the 2025-26 Big Bash League (BBL) campaign and expanding the brand’s presence across both of the club’s professional teams.
Under the renewed agreement, Greenworks will remain a premier partner of the Melbourne Stars and become the club’s official powered gardening equipment partner across the men’s BBL and women’s Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) programs.
The expanded partnership will provide Greenworks with branding opportunities across player helmets, caps and selected training apparel, alongside match-day signage and a range of fan-facing activations. The agreement will also incorporate digital campaigns and member communications, giving the brand multiple touchpoints with the Stars’ supporter base throughout the BBL and WBBL seasons.
James Rosengarten, the General Manager of the Melbourne Stars, said, “We’re really excited to be extending our partnership with Greenworks Australia for another two seasons. Greenworks is an innovative brand with strong Victorian roots and values that align closely with the Melbourne Stars. After a positive first season together, we’re looking forward to expanding the partnership across both our BBL and WBBL teams and creating more opportunities for Greenworks to connect with our members and fans.”
Greenworks Australia’s Managing Director, Adam Duggan, added, “We’re proud to extend our partnership with the Melbourne Stars and strengthen our involvement across both the BBL and WBBL programs. The Stars provide a fantastic platform to showcase the performance, versatility and sustainability benefits of Greenworks products to cricket fans across Victoria and Australia.”
The renewal forms part of Greenworks Australia’s wider investment in Australian sport, with the company also holding partnerships across the AFL, NRL and motorsport.
For the Stars, the extension reinforces their commercial portfolio, while Greenworks gains a broader platform to position its battery-powered gardening products around performance, innovation and sustainability.
