The Big Bash League (BBL) outfit, Melbourne Renegades have landed a new association with the renowned global TV manufacturer and consumer electronics company, TCL Electronics.
In this association, TCL Electronics has been named the premier partner of the team for the upcoming two years. The agreement has been inked just before the new edition of the BBL.
This development will enable the logo of the electronics company to be featured on the playing caps and pants, helmets, media polos and LED signage.
Speaking on the association, TCL National Marketing Manager, Rafael Mayen, said, “We are delighted to be associating ourselves with the Renegades and the excitement of the Big Bash League in Australia, as well as with the entertainment that cricket provides Australians in general.
“Our first partnership within the Big Bash provides an opportunity for TCL to drive growth across our range in line with the Renegades brand.”
Commenting on the agreement, Melbourne Renegades General Manager, James Rosengarten, said, “It’s exciting to welcome TCL Electronics to our club and to be joining forces with a global leader in the television and electronics industry.
“There’s a great synergy between our two organisations in providing a fantastic entertainment experience for Australians, and we look forward to their continued support of programs from grassroots to the BBL.”
TCL Electronics, the Chinese company, which is headquartered and listed in Hong Kong was founded in 1981. The company is currently operating in over 160 markets around the globe. TCL has been functioning in Australia since 2004.
Earlier this year, the two parties involved also teamed up for the 2022 Renegades Recruit program, which focuses on encouraging community cricket in Victoria.
The Melbourne-based franchise cricket club will commence its new BBL season on December 15 against Brisbane Heat at 6:15 PM IST.
