McLaren Racing has solidified its partnership with NTT DATA, a global leader in business and technology services, by extending its collaboration to the McLaren F1 Academy Team.
This move underscores both companies’ commitment to fostering emerging talent and promoting diversity in motorsport.
NTT DATA has become an official partner of the F1 Academy team, with its logo prominently displayed on the race car of Bianca Bustamante, a promising young driver. This partnership aligns with McLaren’s and NTT DATA’s shared vision of creating a more inclusive and equitable environment within the motorsport industry.
Matt Dennington, Co-Chief Commercial Officer at McLaren Racing, expressed enthusiasm about the expanded partnership, “We are delighted to further develop our partnership with NTT DATA into the world of F1 Academy – a relationship which has gone from strength to strength with our Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team. We’re proud to work closely with our partners to continue to open up motorsport to female drivers, and we are pleased to have NTT DATA join us on this journey.”
Mona Charif, Chief Marketing Officer at NTT DATA, Inc., echoed Dennington’s sentiments, “As a trusted global innovator of business and technology services, NTT DATA is proud to be associated with F1 Academy to support emerging talent and promote diversity across all levels of motorsport. Our partnership with McLaren Racing reflects our shared values and commitment to creating a more diverse and equal playing field on and off the track.”
The expanded partnership builds upon NTT DATA’s existing agreement with the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team. NTT DATA has been Arrow McLaren’s official IT services partner since the 2023 season, providing essential support in areas such as data strategies, analytical capabilities, and engineering expertise.
NTT DATA is a global technology services company specializing in consulting, systems development, and outsourcing. Headquartered in Japan, it offers a wide range of IT solutions across various industries.
F1 Academy will resume action this weekend at Zandvoort for the Dutch Grand Prix (August 23-25). Bianca Bustamante currently holds the fifth position in the driver standings with 57 points.
