Edward Jones has entered into a multi-year partnership with McLaren Racing, becoming the team’s official private wealth management partner across its Formula 1 and IndyCar programmes as the financial services firm makes its first move into motorsport sponsorship.
The partnership spans the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team and Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, giving Edward Jones a year-round presence across two major motorsport platforms.
The activation begins in Formula 1 during the 2026 season, with Edward Jones branding set to appear on a McLaren driver’s helmet visor at a selected race, alongside a presence at marquee events. From 2027, the partnership will expand into IndyCar, with Edward Jones becoming the primary partner of the No. 6 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet at the 111th Indianapolis 500 and selected additional races. Six-time IndyCar champion Scott Dixon is set to drive the entry.
The agreement also includes client and fan experiences, storytelling initiatives and co-branded content across McLaren Racing’s digital and social platforms, centred on preparation, teamwork, resilience and continuous improvement.
Zak Brown, CEO, McLaren Racing, said, “Edward Jones has a long history of supporting its clients and communities, and we’re excited to welcome them as McLaren Racing partners. We have a shared commitment toward preparation and continuous improvement through a people-first culture, making this partnership a natural fit.”
Hema Widhani, Principal and Chief Brand, Experience and Marketing Officer, Edward Jones, added, “Whether on a racetrack or in a financial plan, success is rarely the result of a single moment; instead, it’s built through preparation, discipline and thousands of decisions made over time. What excites us most about McLaren Racing is the culture of teamwork, resilience and continuous improvement behind every performance. Those are many of the same principles that help our clients navigate complexity and achieve what’s important to them.”
The deal adds to an increasingly diverse commercial portfolio around McLaren Racing. Recent additions and expansions include SharkNinja, DP World, Cisco and Intel.
The commercial momentum comes as McLaren remains competitive across both championships. In Formula 1, the team sits third in the 2026 Constructors’ standings with 306 points after 15 Grands Prix, while Lando Norris is fourth in the Drivers’ Championship on 186 points and Oscar Piastri seventh on 120.
Arrow McLaren has also produced a strong 2026 IndyCar campaign. Pato O’Ward finished fourth with 522 points and three victories, while Christian Lundgaard placed third with 535 points and two wins. For 2027, the team will pair O’Ward with Dixon and 2026 Indianapolis 500 winner Felix Rosenqvist.
For Edward Jones, the partnership provides a platform to connect its financial services brand with McLaren’s global audience while extending its client engagement strategy into premium sports entertainment.
