Manchester United plans entertainment centers in China

Manchester United have announced the plans to open entertainment centers across China by the name Theatre of Dreams.

The entertainment complexes are being built in partnership with Harves Entertainment in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, and Changsha. The center in Beijing is nearing completion. These complexes will feature several state-of-art activities and attractions, including an interactive journey through Manchester United’s 142-year history.

Visitors will also be able to experience immersive Manchester United football gaming. An official merchandise store and lavish restaurants will be part of the centers.

Richard Arnold, group managing director of Manchester United, said, “Theatre of Dreams is an entirely new sports entertainment experience. It is our home away from home. Sir Bobby Charlton famously described our Old Trafford stadium as the theatre of dreams, and now we can bring that dream alive for our Chinese fans.”

Arnold also admitted that these centers would help in strengthening the club’s longstanding commitment with fans in China. The first Theatre of Dreams complex in Beijing is set to open at the end of the year.
