Manchester City signs deal extension with Healthpoint

Healthpoint became the official healthcare partner of the club in 2014.

English Premier League club Manchester City announced its deal extension with the UAE based organization Healthpoint.

The original deal was signed back in 2014 where Healthpoint became the official healthcare partner of the club. The seven years-long agreement has been extended for two more years and will see Healthpoint remain the official healthcare partner of the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Healthpoint has done wonders at Manchester City ever since the original deal in 2014 and even announced a special ‘healthy lifestyle’ campaign for children.

Omar Al Naqbi, Executive director at Healthpoint said, “I am delighted that we are able to continue working so closely with a club of Manchester City’s caliber to share strategies for injury prevention. Learning how they keep players healthy will play a vital role in advancing the care we deliver our patients, helping them recover faster and more sustainably so they can get back to doing what they love.”

The deal extension strengthens the bond between both parties even further and also enhancing the company’s global outreach.

Manchester City will kick off the new season of the Premier League as the defending champions as they face off against Tottenham Hotspur on August 15 in their opening game at the Etihad stadium. The club will be aiming to kick start their Premier League campaign on a higher note with a comprehensive victory over Spurs.
