Manchester City pens down partnership with Emirates Palace

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola would be featuring in some fun content during his visit to Emirates Palace.

The Premier League outfit, Manchester City FC have penned down a partnership with the luxury hotel, Emirates Palace. Following this association, the Abu Dhabi-based hotel has been labelled as the club’s official hotel partner.

Manchester City’s first team used the hotel previously as a base during their warm-weather training visits to the country. Adding to it, the City Football Schools based in Abu Dhabi currently use the pitch facilities in the hotel to host their educational and community sessions.

In this agreement, Emirates Palace will be seen on the club assets that includes the Etihad Stadium, training kit and training ground. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola would also be featuring in some fun content during his visit to Emirates Palace.

Speaking on the occasion, Stephan Cieplik, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships Sales, City Football Group, said: “Emirates Palace has provided Manchester City and its first-team players with access to first-class accommodation and training facilities on a number of occasions and it’s fantastic that we’re able to build on this existing relationship and welcome the hotel as an Official Partner today. We look forward to working with the team to bring the partnership to life.”

Adding to it, Michael Koth, General Manager & Area Vice President Operations Middle East, Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi said: “The partnership with Manchester City reinforces Emirates Palace’s position as the ultimate destination for sports, leisure and recreational facilities in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. With our FIFA-approved football pitch and other award-winning facilities, we are excited to be the training ground for the English Premier League Club and to host educational and training sessions for sports enthusiasts and children and of the region.”

On the field, Manchester City will be facing Swindon Town in the third round of the FA Cup on January 8. The Cityzens are currently leading the Premier League table, collecting 53 points from their last 21 games.
