Manchester City form ticketing pact with viagogo

viagogo will provide fans with a streamlined ticket-buying experience while also collaborating with Man City to promote safer ticket purchasing behaviours.

The Premier League (PL) champions, Manchester City have inked a sponsorship agreement with viagogo, the world’s leading ticket marketplace.

The agreement was signed to provide fans worldwide with new ways to watch and experience live men’s and women’s sports. This multi-year deal will see hospitality tickets from the club’s existing hospitality allocation for men’s home games, as well as tickets for women’s games, made available directly on viagogo.

Viagogo operates in 195 countries and 33 languages, allowing City supporters all around the world to acquire these tickets safely and securely.

Each ticket offering will include the ‘official partner’ label, providing fans confidence in their purchase. viagogo will also allow fans to relist their tickets if they are no longer able to attend in accordance with the sale terms and restrictions.

The association with viagogo expands the club’s current ticketing and resale infrastructure by providing another reliable distribution mechanism for supporters to readily obtain hospitality tickets. viagogo will provide fans with a streamlined ticket-buying experience while also collaborating with the club to promote safer ticket purchasing behaviours.

In addition, Man City will collaborate with viagogo to use the platform’s substantial data analytics on ticket purchase behaviours to acquire a greater knowledge of the city’s local and worldwide fans, allowing the club to adapt future ticketing solutions and services to better serve supporters.
