Macron, a leading European sportswear brand, has announced a groundbreaking six-year partnership with the Confederation of North, Central America, and Caribbean Football (CONCACAF).
This collaboration, which extends from 2024 to 2030, sees Macron serve as the official sports equipment and apparel provider for all CONCACAF national team and club competitions.
As part of the agreement, Macron will also supply top-quality products and extensive support to CONCACAF referees, marking a significant expansion of the brand’s presence in the global football landscape. The deal encompasses CONCACAF’s men’s, women’s, under-20, and under-17 national team tournaments, as well as club competitions, providing Macron with substantial visibility in a region where football is experiencing tremendous growth.
CONCACAF President and FIFA Vice President, Victor Montagliani, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are very pleased to agree to this confederation-wide partnership with Macron, a company and brand increasingly known for its high quality and its growing and impressive reach in international sports. Our agreement covers all Concacaf national team and club competitions for many years ahead, during a pivotal time for the growth of Concacaf and of football in our wonderful region.
“I must also thank Macron for the tremendous levels of support they will be providing for our Concacaf referees as part of this important new partnership.”
Gianluca Pavanello, Macron’s CEO, added, “The visit and presence of Concacaf’s president Victor Montagliani at the Macron Campus has allowed us to announce the extension of this prestigious partnership and to take pride in showing him the place where all our products are conceived and developed, and where our commitment and passion bears fruit. Our values have allowed us to grow in the United States and throughout North America, where we now supply top-quality technical teamwear and sportswear lines with elegant, exclusive designs. Consolidating and extending our presence on the North American market is one of our key objectives, and agreements like that with Concacaf demonstrate that we are moving in the right direction.”
This agreement is Macron’s first confederation-wide partnership with a FIFA-affiliated organisation, further solidifying the Italian brand’s foothold in the global sports market. Macron already boasts a robust portfolio of partnerships, including Udinese Calcio, Crystal Palace, West Bromwich Albion, Osasuna, and more.
The timing of this partnership is particularly exciting as CONCACAF prepares for a series of high-profile tournaments in 2024 and 2025. These include the 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup and the inaugural 2024-25 CONCACAF W Champions Cup.
This prestigious partnership with Macron adds to CONCACAF’s growing list of recent collaborations aimed at advancing football development in the region. Other notable partnerships include agreements with Riyadh Air and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), both of which are designed to further boost the sport’s growth and influence across North and Central America, and the Caribbean.
