The English professional football manager and former player, Steven Gerrard has inked a new collaboration with an Asian online gaming platform, M88 Mansion. In this partnership, Gerrard will serve as the brand ambassador of the forthcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The former midfielder and club manager’s goal will be to advertise the firm throughout the Southeast Asian region through a variety of digital and advertising strategies initiatives.
On the partnership, Steven Gerrard, said, “I am delighted to join M88 Mansion as their brand ambassador for the World Cup. I couldn’t be more excited to share my experiences from my time on the field, especially my views and opinions to the Asian sports fans regarding the upcoming World Cup.”
While playing for Liverpool FC from 1998 to 2015, the English footballer was characterised as a breakout star. He scored 186 goals in 710 outings for Merseyside in all contests.
M88 Mansion’s Head of Commercial, Alan Wafer, commented, “We are ecstatic that Steven Gerrard agreed to become our brand ambassador for the Qatar World Cup. It is an honour to have him be included in our growing roster of partners.”
Steven was a member of England’s ‘Golden Generation’ team. He played for the men’s senior football team from 2000 to 2014. In 114 international appearances, he scored 21 goals. He also played for the Major League Soccer (MLS) team LA Galaxy before stepping down from competitive football.
Manny ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao was also named an ambassador for M88 Mansion in September as the platform continued to broaden its sporting scope.
As part of the deal, the Filipino boxer now makes live showings and press conferences while also taking part in other activities such as exhibition games and pop-up events across the region.
