The Asian online casino company, M88 Mansion has announced Ivan Rakitić as its new brand ambassador for the remainder of the LaLiga 2022-23 season.
The agreement calls for the Sevilla FC midfielder to take part in a number of activities, such as an exclusive interview. The Croatian footballer has already appeared on an Indonesian podcast called Monday Motivations.
Rakitić, said, “I’m truly honoured with this endeavour. I got to do some fun stuff that I really enjoyed. Meeting some Asian fans was also an experience that I will never forget. Thank you, M88 Mansion.”
The 34-year-old has been playing in Spain since 2011, first for Sevilla FC and then for FC Barcelona. In 2020, he returned to Sevilla.
His trophy cabinet contains the UEFA Europa League with Sevilla FC in 2013-14 and the UEFA Champions League with Barcelona in 2014-15. He also won four LaLiga titles and four Copa del Reys with the Blaugrana.
He was also a member of Croatia’s national team, which finished second in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. He retired from international football in 2019, having scored 15 goals in 106 games.
M88 Mansion’s Head of Commercial, Alan Wafer, commented, “We are delighted to have Ivan Rakitić become part of our family. At the same time, this strengthens our relationship with LaLiga, one of our biggest partners to date.”
M88 also announced last week that it would be assisting Manny Pacquiao (PacMan) in his six-round middleweight fight against martial artist DK Yoo at the Seoul Arena in South Korea.
Leading up to the fight, one that took place on December 10, the boxing legend trained with the company.
Back in November, the company also announced Steven Gerrard as its brand ambassador for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
