SPORTFIVE will now serve as the Ligue 1 club’s exclusive commercial agency until 2029, thanks to the extension. This develops on the two groups’ 25-year partnership.
SPORTFIVE will continue to facilitate the team’s entire commercialisation and expansion of its B2B revenues, both in France and worldwide, under the provisions of the contract.
In addition, SPORTFIVE’s group will start to add value to the economic space of the LDLC Arena, a new multi-purpose stadium for basketball and music concerts that will start in 2023 at a location near Lyon’s home stadium.
SPORTFIVE also persists to broker sponsorship deals for Lyon, in September it assisted the team in signing clothing brand Naf Naf as the new back-of-shirt sponsor for its women’s team. In August, the group also assisted in adding the French clothing company Izac to the club’s sponsorship portfolio.
