LOSC Lille lands a partnership deal with Sportfive

Sportfive will be looking to implement a commercial strategy through this partnership.

The French Ligue One club LOSC Lille announced its “strategic business partnership” with the international sports rights marketing agency Sportfive. 

As part of the agreement, Sportfive and Lille will be collaborating to “take a step further in the local, national and international commercial strategy and develop” business to business revenues. 

The deal has been due for over five weeks now as Sportfive announced its deal with the French company Rika which also includes the chest pocket branding of LOSC Lille’s jersey. 

Olivier Létang, LOSC Lille’s president, said, “Sportfive is an extremely powerful and essential player in the international sports industry. Many European soccer clubs already collaborate with Sportfive, and the international agency chose LOSC to focus its investment and its development strategy in Europe. This is a strong sign of confidence in the project that is being led at LOSC as well as in its significant commercial potential. The development of LOSC’s revenues is absolutely essential to allow the club to pursue its growth project and it is with this ambition that LOSC has chosen to intensify its relationship with Sportfive and to enter into this strategic and long-term partnership.” 

Sportfive will be looking to implement a commercial strategy through this partnership that said it will be “based on digital, data and a sales team dedicated 100-per-cent to Lille, coordinated and supported by all of the agency’s central expertise in France and internationally.” 

Lille has currently acquired the14th place in the Ligue One standings with eight points in seven games. They will play Strasbourg in their next fixture in an away from home game.
