Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe has signed a long-term partnership with the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to become the official formalwear and travelwear partner of Spain’s men’s and women’s national football teams until 2030, further underlining the growing convergence between elite football and global luxury fashion brands.

The agreement will see the Madrid-founded fashion house dress Spain’s senior national teams during official travel, ceremonies, media appearances, and federation events across a major cycle of international tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup 2026, the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, and the FIFA World Cup 2030, which Spain will co-host alongside Portugal and Morocco.

Loewe’s role will focus exclusively on off-pitch apparel and lifestyle presentation, with the partnership operating separately from Spain’s existing on-field kit agreement with adidas.

As part of the collaboration, Loewe will design tailored collections for players, coaches, and federation officials, including formalwear, casualwear, footwear, leather accessories, and travel pieces. The partnership launch campaign featured several of Spain’s leading football stars, including Pedri, Rodri, Nico Williams, Pau Cubarsí, and Unai Simón.

In a statement, the RFEF said, “The Royal Spanish Football Federation and Loewe are beginning a collaboration whereby the fashion brand will dress the senior men’s and women’s Spanish national teams on their travels around the world for the next four years. The fashion house thus joins the list of sponsors who have placed their trust in the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the Spanish national team in the face of the challenges that Spanish football has on the horizon in the coming years.”

Loewe’s management stated, “Founded in Madrid in 1846, Loewe is renowned for its excellence in leather, its innovative craftsmanship and its unique spirit. Through craftsmanship and creative expression, the house has explored the idea of Spanish identity since its foundation, not as a fixed image, but as a tactile, expressive and constantly evolving language. Building on this tradition, and “coinciding with the house’s 180th anniversary, this exploration now extends to the sporting world, accompanying a generation of players who are redefining football with their talent and instinct and who represent Spain with the same energy, optimism and intuition that inspire Loewe.”

Founded in Madrid in 1846, the luxury house noted that the collaboration coincides with its approaching 180th anniversary and represents an opportunity to connect Spanish fashion and football on the global stage.

The deal also reflects a wider commercial trend of luxury brands increasingly using football partnerships to access younger audiences and strengthen cultural relevance through sport, entertainment, and social media-driven athlete influence.
