Liverpool reveals new third kit for 2021/22 season

The kit will be available for purchase from 21st September 2021.

Premier League club Liverpool FC have unveiled their new Nike third kit for the 2021/22 campaign. The jersey is based on yellow colour with intricate design along with the neckline, sleeves as well as on shorts. The jersey features the Standard Chartered logo in front with the club emblem and Nike logo on either side.

The chequered red design is a tribute to the flags which fly high in the Kop stand of Liverpool. The Kop features sole historic flags, banners and chequered red design is one that came into prominence after the 1977 European Cup win over Borussia Monchengladbach in Rome.

This year’s jersey has been made as a tribute to the 96 people who died in the tragic Hillsborough disaster. In honour of their memory, Liverpool will sport this jersey which has the 96-emblem encased by the eternal flames on the nape of the neck.

Supporters will be able to purchase the kit from September 21st (both online orders as well as in-store purchases). However, members can prebook the jersey from September 8th itself.

Liverpool currently has acquired the fifth spot in the Premier League table with seven points in five matches. Liverpool will be seen next in action on Sunday against Leeds United in the Premier League at 9 PM at Elland Road.
