The defending Premier League champions, Liverpool FC have extended their association with the global beverage giant, The Coca-Cola.
The new extension heralds an exciting new chapter with Coca-Cola, including a stronger presence at Anfield and more support for LFC Women. Since their initial partnership in 2020, LFC and Coca-Cola have worked on a variety of exciting fan-focused activations, ranging from special events and incentives to digital campaigns that highlight the club’s global fan base.
The alliance has also resulted in memorable events like Christmas Carpool, which had some of the highest fan interaction for sponsored content across the club’s digital channels. Furthermore, LFC and Coca-Cola will continue to create engaging events that bring fans closer to the club and spark lasting memories for Reds fans.
Coca-Cola will also retain pouring rights across its entire array of popular beverages, allowing fans to enjoy their favourite drinks on matchdays at Anfield and at club events.
Ben Latty, Chief Commercial Officer at LFC, said, “We’re thrilled to be extending our partnership with Coca-Cola, with a continued focus on enhancing the matchday experience at Anfield and expanding their support for LFC Women. Coca-Cola has helped us deliver some brilliant campaigns over the past few years, from unforgettable matchday activations to community-driven initiatives through LFC Foundation. With this renewed agreement, we’re looking forward to creating even more moments that celebrate both our men’s and women’s teams.”
Javier Meza, President of Marketing, Europe at Coca-Cola, said, “Liverpool Football Club stands as one of the most storied and influential clubs in world football, with a historical legacy and a passionate global fan base. We’re excited to continue sharing moments of refreshment and enjoyment with fans through our partnership with the club.”
Coca-Cola’s engagement with LFC builds on its historic history of supporting football at all levels, from grassroots to global championships, and compliments the company’s existing league-wide deal with the Premier League.
The brand joins Liverpool’s current commercial portfolio with partners such as Women in Football, New Era, Haier, Visit Maldives, EC Markets, BAYCREW’S, and adidas.
