L’Equipe lands French broadcasting deal with EuroLeague

One EuroLeague game will be streamed live on L'Equipe in every round.

Turkish Airlines EuroLeague has collaborated with L’Equipe Group to broadcast a few games of the remaining 2021-22 season. Round no. 11 will begin with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne and FC Barcelona. With this round, L’Equipe will broadcast a minimum of one regular-season game per round along with playoffs and final four games.

As per the deal, one EuroLeague game will be streamed live on L’Equipe in every round. Though few selected games will also be aired on L’Equipe TV, the media group’s direct channel. In this agreement, the fixtures of LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne are also included along with several top teams in the league. 

As for the fans, they will now have the opportunity to watch, on a free-to-air basis, select LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne games, as well as those containing French stars on other teams in Europe’s premier basketball competition.

There are also a few homegrown stars that French fans will like to enjoy. Names like Rodrigue Beaubois and Adrien Moerman. Two-time EuroLeague champions Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Nando De Colo. 

EuroLeague is one of the best basketball competitions for fans across this region and to know that L’Equipe is joining the broadcast service is a treat for them. For Olympique Lyonnais fans, they can watch their players play on their OTT streaming network OLPAY. It broadcasts all LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne games in the French area. Monaco TV streams AS Monaco games and EuroLeague. TV, the league’s official OTT platform, offers all Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup games, which is available for fans on both Apple TV and Android TV.
