The global technology leaders, Lenovo and its subsidiary, Motorola Mobility, have announced a significant partnership with the revamped FIFA Club World Cup 2025.

This collaboration has positioned Motorola as the official FIFA Club World Cup 2025 smartphone partner, while Lenovo will serve as the comprehensive technology provider for the landmark global football tournament.

The agreement sees Lenovo and Motorola equip FIFA and all 32 participating teams with essential hardware, services, and smart solutions. This includes cutting-edge AI PCs, tablets, workstations, and a range of Motorola smartphones, prominently featuring the Motorola Razr family 2025. These devices will be crucial for everything from optimizing tournament operations to capturing exclusive pitch-side content. The integrated solutions aim to enhance content creation, facilitate seamless collaboration, and provide vital on-ground support throughout the competition.

Commenting on the partnership, FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström said, “The inaugural FIFA Club World Cup will mark a new era in global club football – one that is inclusive, innovative and more connected than ever before. We’re delighted to have Motorola and Lenovo joining us for this groundbreaking tournament. Their world-class technology and global perspective will help elevate the experience for fans, teams and other stakeholders.”

Motorola President Sergio Buniac, added, “Motorola is proud to support this landmark in global club football with smarter technology. The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 represents an incredible opportunity to showcase not only the world’s best football clubs but also the transformative potential of innovation. Through our infrastructure, devices – from smartphones to Lenovo PCs and servers – and services, we’ll help FIFA deliver a tournament that is truly inclusive for fans around the world.”

Beyond operational support, Motorola plans extensive on-site marketing initiatives to amplify its global brand presence. Expect to see prominent Motorola-branded content on field-level LED screens and stadium video boards during matches. The partnership will also include engaging fan activations, such as the “Motorola Super Fan Photographer” program, which will offer unique pitch-side access for content capture using the latest Motorola smartphones, connecting the brand directly with football enthusiasts worldwide.

This new agreement builds on Lenovo’s existing role as an official FIFA technology partner, announced in October, covering the FIFA World Cup 2026 and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027. This additional partnership for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 further solidifies Lenovo’s commitment to shaping the digital future of football and its mission to deliver “Smarter Technology for All.”

The collaboration’s ultimate goal is to enhance the global football experience, making the sport more accessible and engaging, while leveraging AI and other advanced technologies to create new and immersive interactions for fans across the globe.

Lenovo and Motorola join an esteemed roster of global brands, including Taittinger, VisaCoca-ColaBank of AmericaAB InBev, and Hisense, underscoring the strong commercial interest in this groundbreaking event.
