Lancashire Cricket has developed a multi-year partnership with Castore, the premium British sportswear brand.
With this deal, Castore has become Lancashire Cricket’s official kit supplier and exclusive retail partner, with the outfits sporting the club’s trademark red rose.
The fresh concept, which will include the legendary Castore wings on premium athletic apparel, will be launched in time for Lancashire’s opening domestic fixtures of the season for both men and women.
Castore will provide Lancashire’s men’s and women’s uniforms for the Vitality Blast and Metro Bank One-Day Cup, as well as the Men’s Rothesay County Championship and training gear for both teams.
Lancashire Chief Executive, Daniel Gidney, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Castore into our family of partners as they become our official kit supplier ahead of the new season. mCastore is a local brand who have built up an impressive portfolio, working to provide playing kit across several top-class professional sports clubs around the world. We are looking forward to unveiling our bespoke Men’s and Women’s Castore playing kits to Members’ and supporters ahead of the season starting in April.”
Castore continues to invest in sports both in the UK and globally, serving as the kit partner for several prominent sponsorship deals with top sports teams and athletes. Its partners include Professional Squash Association, FC Kaiserslautern, Everton FC, Burnley FC, Oracle Red Bull Racing, World Snooker Tour (WST), and national teams like New Zealand Cricket (NZC) and England and Wales Cricket.
Castore was established in 2016 in the Wirral by brothers and former athletes Tom and Phil Beahon, with the goal of developing precisely engineered precision sportswear through technology improvements and partnerships with ambitious teams and remarkable sporting identities. Since then, the brand has evolved to become globally renowned, collaborating with some of the world’s most prominent sports, including football and Formula 1.
Castore Founding Partner, Tom Beahon, commented, “We’re really excited to partner with Lancashire, a club that is close to our hearts – especially my brother and co-founder Phil, being his former club. It is also close to our business in Manchester and we both have strong ambitions to continue to promote cricketing excellence at the elite level and through grassroots participation. It’s a pleasure to work with Lancashire and develop our relationship with another key part of the cricketing community.
“We think it’s a brilliant time to be bolstering our presence in cricket, as summer approaches and the UK plays host to some incredible international fixtures before the Men’s Ashes Tour later this year.”
