The European football league, LaLiga has announced a partnership with the board game developer, Superclub. Through this association, both parties will collaborate to elevate and extend the officially licensed game that they launch this October.
The football manager game brand will include player cards from every LaLiga Santander team while enhancing the gaming experience of football enthusiasts. The game development will culminate at the end of this year and will showcase exclusive executive actions of the fiercest teams in the league.
Kjetil Hetlevik Johansen, the CEO of Superclub put forth his opinions on the deal and said, “Everyone knows that LaLiga represents the very top of football. We are very proud to work with them and we are confident that the LaLiga license in our game will provide incredible value to fans on both sides. We are very impressed and grateful for the openness and positivity of LaLiga. We felt we were a good fit from the start and it’s great that this deal has come to a successful conclusion. Now the real work begins, and we look forward to working together for many years to come.”
Oscar Mayo, the Executive Director of LaLiga also gave his insights on the association and said, “At LaLiga we are delighted to be working with Superclub in developing a new way of bringing our competition closer to fans through something as entertaining as table games. We are very happy that this new game can be made available worldwide.”
Audun Egenberg, the Creative Director of Superclub, conveyed some details about the partnership and said, “Player-managers can choose whether to play only LaLiga or they want to mix the LaLiga game with the original Superclub game. Naturally, the main game is being translated into Spanish, but the LaLiga version package will also be playable in other languages. We can’t wait to share our game with football fans around the world.”
Superclub received immense appreciation and reception from the football devotees after its inaugural game got launched in 2020. The agency now enriches the game frequently with league level and club-licensed extensions.
