LaLiga pens down an association with Cabreiroa

This association is held until the end of the 2022/23 LaLiga season and will feature the mineral water entity at the league’s affiliated stadiums.

The Spanish football league, LaLiga has signed a strategic agreement with the Galician mineral water brand, Cabreiroa. 

Through this deal, Cabreiroa became an official sponsor and the official water of LaLiga Santander, LaLiga Smartbank and LaLiga Genuine Santander.

This association is held until the end of the 2022/23 LaLiga season and will feature the mineral water entity at the league’s affiliated stadiums. On the other hand, with this agreement, the popular football league also showcased its nature of associating with the leading global brands.

This partnership is the result of the prolonged presence of the hydration brand in the football industry. The firm had held ties with LaLiga in the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons and currently serves notable Spanish clubs such as RC Celta, Real Valladolid, etc.

Óscar Mayo, the CEO of LaLiga commented on this agreement and said, “This alliance allows two leading brands such as Cabreiroá and LaLiga to share synergies. Thanks to her, we are both going to continue reinforcing two of our hallmarks, our commitment to innovation and sustainable development”.

Santiago Miguélez, the Marketing Director at Iberia for Hijos de Rivera, also shed light on the deal and said, “The progression and growth of LaLiga in recent years makes us convinced that this agreement will be another boost for Cabreiroá’s national growth and will reinforce its positioning linked to the hydration of athletes”.

Recently, LaLiga has partnered with the leading smartphone brand, Vivo and also launched an MBA program with Aspire Zone Foundation.
