LALIGA inks three-year pact with Riyadh Season

This collaboration with LALIGA marks an additional turning point in Riyadh Season's journey to international recognition.

LALIGA, the premier football league in Spain, has developed a three-year partnership with Riyadh Season, a flagship annual Saudi entertainment and tourist event.

LALIGA President Javier Tebas signed the deal, which establishes Riyadh Season as the official sponsor of one of the globe’s most competitive football leagues for three seasons.

This collaboration marks an additional turning point in Riyadh Season’s journey to international recognition, as the season aims to provide outstanding activities that position Saudi Arabia at the pinnacle of global entertainment destinations, with the kind backing of the Kingdom’s leadership for the entertainment sector and other industries.

Javier Tebas emphasised the significance of Saudi Arabia to LALIGA, citing the enormous devotion that Saudi football supporters have for the Spanish league. He also stated that LALIGA is committed to promoting the Kingdom’s sports and entertainment industries through initiatives such as Riyadh Season.

David Villa, LALIGA Ambassador, expressed optimism that the cooperation with Saudi Arabia will open up new opportunities for collaboration. He emphasised that football in the Kingdom has grown tremendously in recent years, making it an excellent partner.

This cooperation, which symbolises Riyadh Season’s worldwide position, intends to organise promotional events for both businesses and conduct collaborative projects aimed at football fans and visitors to Riyadh Season, therefore increasing the season’s attractiveness as a global destination.
