LaLiga displays improvement in BrandZ ranking

LaLiga acquired the 12th rank with an improvement of three spots from the 15th rank in the previous year.

The Spanish top-flight football competition, LaLiga has yet again emerged as the top Spanish sports entity in the Kantar BrandZ ranking. This list consists of Spain’s top 30 valuable brands.

LaLiga acquired the 12th rank with an improvement of three spots from the 15th rank in the previous year. The premier Spanish competition saw an enhancement of 1% from the last year, which seems minimal but in comparison, other companies have suffered a 9% drop in 2022, which is estimated to be around 89.1 billion dollars.

In these rankings, Zara has once again occupied the number one spot, with 18.856 billion dollars, followed by Movistar, worth 16.167 billion dollars and Iberdrola, the leading energy company at third place, with 8.186 million dollars.

Talking about the points table, FC Barcelona have acquired the top spot with 41 points, with 13 wins, two draws and one loss in their 16 matches played. Real Madrid and Real Sociedad are in second and third position, respectively. 

Furthermore, regarding the league’s new partnerships and brand engagement, LaLiga launched new corporate channels on Twitter and Telegram, along with landing a new association with Galaxy Racer.
