The Spanish top-tier league, LaLiga commenced its 2022/2023 edition with a clash between Osasuna and Sevilla on August 13, 12:30 AM IST.
The champions of the previous season, Real Madrid will kick off its league campaign on August 15 with a trip to newly-promoted side, Almeira. Their arch-rivals, FC Barcelona will commence their 2022/22 season against Rayo Vallecano on August 14.

Prior to the 2016/17 season, LaLiga inked a title partnership agreement with the Spanish banking giant, Santander. Nevertheless, there will be an alteration of this partnership beginning with the 2023/24 campaign, with both parties shifting their sponsorship methodologies in a new direction.
In this category, the league organisers have announced a collaboration with one of the world’s leading sports brands, Puma. As part of the deal, Puma will deliver the match ball for the season.
Moreover, LaLiga has also signed a global partnership agreement with Electronic Arts (EA) Sports. It should also be noted that the game developer firm will replace Santander as the title sponsor beginning next season.
Along with them, in this category, the league has also collaborated with companies like BKT, Sorare, TVM, Socios.com and Dapper.
The only brand that LaLiga has announced in this category is Microsoft. Both organisations joined forces to digitally transform football around the world and reinvent a new phase in sports.
Recently, the organisers also struck a collaboration with the automobile manufacturer, Nissan. The football league will collaborate with the company’s e-POWER innovation in this affiliation until June 2023.
