Lahore Qalandars pen down partnership with FM 100 Pakistan

FM 100 Pakistan was founded on March 23, 1995, and was the first commercial radio station in Pakistan.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) outfit, Lahore Qalandars have joined hands with the radio station, FM 100 Pakistan. Following the association, FM 100 Pakistan has been labelled as the official radio partner of the Lahore-based franchise for the upcoming PSL season seven.

Lahore Qalandars announced the new partnership through their official Instagram handle as they posted, “We are delighted to announce 100 FM Pakistan as our Radio Partner for #HBLPSL7.”

FM 100 Pakistan was founded on March 23, 1995, and was the first commercial radio station in Pakistan. It broadcasts around nine cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Hyderabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Gujrat, Abbottabad, and Jhelum.

The radio channel covers regular religious programs, special events coverage, talk shows, youth shows, sports roundup, IT-related programs, and lastly promotes Pakistani pop, folk, and film music and also offers western music.

Lahore Qalandars have been making an appearance in the PSL since its inception but have failed to lift their maiden title over the years. They finished at the bottom of the points table in each of the first four seasons of the PSL. 

Apart from FM 100 Pakistan, the Lahore-based franchise has penned down associations with Marina Sports City and Al-Noor Orchard as real estate partners, Bank of Punjab as banking partner, PUBG Mobile as esports partner, Starlet Shoes as footwear partner, and lastly the team inked a partnership with the Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

Lahore Qalandars will face Multan Sultans in their opening match on January 29.
