LaLiga North America has extended the partnership with ThinkFoodGroup to increase the presence in key growth markets. The football league had initially partnered with Spanish-American chef José Andrés’, ThinkFoodGroup to establish Mercado Little Spain as the official Home of LaLiga in New York back in 2019.
In the last one year, after naming the Mercado Little Spain as the official Home of LaLiga in New York, the duo has also named Jaleo as the home of LaLiga in Washington DC.
Jaleo DC and Jaleo Crystal City in Virginia will show all LaLiga games live and host special events for fans that will include appearances from LaLiga legends. The partnership demonstrates ThinkFoodGroup and LaLiga North America’s commitment to elevating the passion for Spanish culture, food, and soccer in the United States.
LaLiga North America will be doing sweepstakes and merchandise giveaways for guests in both cities, including takeaway orders.
LaLiga North America chief executive Boris Gartner said, “LaLiga North America’s first year at Mercado Little Spain exceeded all of our expectations, creating an atmosphere unlike any in the sports world. Fútbol fans and lovers of Spanish culture feel like they are transported to Spain when they enter ‘The Home of LaLiga.’ This is as close you can get in the US to a truly Spanish experience with the best food and the best soccer.”
