KXIP partners with Tech Mahindra to bring fans closer to the game

Kings XI Punjab is going all out to connect with the fanbase.

The Indian Premier League franchise has partnered with Tech Mahindra, a leading provider of digital transformation, consulting, and business reengineering services, to launch a dedicated fan engagement application that will help fans to engage with the team.

The mobile application is available on the iOS/Android platform for the fans to download during the ongoing IPL season. This application will provide hyper-personalised experience to the KXIP fans and will enable the team to develop a stronger reach. The collaboration will focus on building a state of art digital fan engagement platform.

KXIP and Tech Mahindra will also work on 5G technology to bring holographic virtual fans to the stadium. The collaboration will also see Tech Mahindra supporting KXIP to gain wider markets and audiences by reaching out to spectators that are at home in real-time, during live games, which are currently being played behind closed doors in United Arab Emirates.

Tech Mahindra has recently launched the Sports Tech business unit focusing on Sports Specific digital solutions to provide a digital ecosystem for fans, sponsors, suppliers and clubs.
