Konami Digital Entertainment, a global leader in digital entertainment, has announced a partnership with the Indian football goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu for an exclusive Holi campaign for its flagship football sim, eFootball.
Along with Gurpreet, the campaign will also include top esports player Jonathan Gaming. From March 1 to March 26, 2025, the campaign will highlight India’s burgeoning eFootball community, featuring major gaming celebrities like Gamerfleet, Sharkshe, RK Reddy, Snax, and Eagle Gaming.
By connecting mainstream football and esports, players will have new ways to connect with the game and their favourite athletes. Indian esports star Jonathan Gaming will lead the campaign as brand ambassador, with Gurpreet Singh Sandhu making a special announcement during the campaign.
The promotion revolves around the “Goal Ke Rang” eFootball tournament, in which players compete for the title of India’s eFootball™ champion and a €1000 prize money. Additional in-game campaigns dedicated to India will be released shortly.
