Konami acquires license to include Serie B in PES 2021

Konami has completed the paperwork to have the license to include Serie B in the 2021 version of Pro-Evolution Soccer (PES). The Japanese entertainment firm becomes the first company to include Serie B or Serie BKT completely in a video game.

As part of the deal, the second division of Italian football will be completely represented in the upcoming update PES 2021. It will include the league in kick-off and manager mode of the game.

Along with the details of Serie B, Konami has also acquired licenses to feature 19 clubs from the division in the new update of the game.

Konami has been working diligently for a detailed representation of Italian football in the latest version of PES. It will also recreate the details of the Italian national team in the game.

Along with getting Serie B in the game, Konami will also have a special tournament mode in the game that will include Euros 2020. The European Championship was expected to take place this year, but the pandemic forced UEFA to postpone it next year. However, Konami has decided to stick with the event in the game.

The inclusion of smaller leagues such as Serie B will help Konami to appease fans of clubs in the second division. The latest version of PES is available on the console and computer.
