The English Football League (EFL) Championship team, Watford FC have announced a partnership with KOKA, the Singapore-based noodles brand.
Through this deal, KOKA’s logo will feature on the back of the club’s jerseys for the rest of the 2024-25 campaign. The arrangement, which began with Sunday’s game against West Bromwich Albion, saw KOKA branding around Vicarage Road on matchdays.
KOKA noodles originated in Singapore in 1986 with a limited selection of instant noodles and are today enjoyed in over 40 nations with over 100 distinct types.
The brand’s goods are crafted with the best ingredients to fully capture the complexity of the Singaporean culinary experience. Notably, there’s also a local association: KOKA is officially sold in the United Kingdom by Golden Meadows, a family-run firm situated in Wembley.
Dilip Sheth, Managing Director at Golden Meadows, said, “We are delighted to form this partnership with the Golden Boys. As the original (and ultimate) family club, Watford is rich in history and shares our values. This made the club our obvious sporting partner of choice to help raise the profile of the KOKA brand. We are very much looking forward to the remainder of the season and are confident many great memories will be created from this partnership and the exciting games that lay ahead.”
Ben Newlyn, Head of Commercial at Watford Football Club, said, “We are delighted to be partnering with the KOKA brand and Golden Meadows, a family business that shares many of the values which our club holds dear. It was clear from our very first conversation how much KOKA and Golden Meadows care about supporting the club.
“We’re excited to feature KOKA on our kit for the remainder of the 2024/25 season and look forward to working closely with them as we head into an exciting second half of the season.”
